As I walked through the empty hallways I let my thoughts run wild. What would happen when I was done here? Why was my life so complicated? Could I go through with it? Would I? Did I even want to? I paused at a door and listened, but all I could hear was my heart beating like a spastic drum. Why was I even here? So, what lies ahead of me? Would it be good? Or would this be the end of it? Three more steps…One…Two…Three… Now turn around. I faced the door. Then raised my left hand, and knocked.
